The Harrisburg Ballet Theater has deep roots in the Capitol region. It was founded on the principles of Forrest Gehret, the “father of dance” in Harrisburg, of having a home for quality dance education and quality dance performance. The current leadership of the Harrisburg Ballet Theater works to ensure that every dancer of every ambition has a great place to dance.
